"A BABY IS NOT A DISEASE"
Dr Ben Carson, a world renowned neurosurgeon and the first doctor to successfully separate conjoined twins, made a very accurate statement when he said "a baby is not a disease to take a pill and get rid of" He went on to explain that once the two cells. are joined together , what is created is neither that father or the mother but a unique human being . He also explained that this unique human being feels. Most importantly for the sake of this issue, it feels pain. Thus the act of performing an abortion is completely barbaric .
Imagine if someone was to rip your body apart piece by piece with no anesthetic. Our society demands a more humane procedure when performing the death penalty on a convicted violent offender. Yet doctors who have sworn to do no harm and mothers, the very person who should be protecting their innocent child have murdered more babies than soldiers lost in all of our wars combined. How could any humane person defend this? Yes murder. Leaving religion out of this for now, When someone stops a beating heart in any case except that which they find it easier to term "abortion", it is considered murder. Abortion is a brutal end of a beating heart. How can anyone argue differently except to ease their own conscious? Because the baby is growing inside the mother and in some cases couldn't survive without her? Seriously? Then how can one draw the line because a two month old or a six month old, even a two year old is dependent upon it's mother for survival! We have grown adults who for one reason or another such as Alzheimer's, or some cancers just to name a couple, could not survive without the care of another human being. Yet it is illegal for them to choose to end their own lives and anyone who was to assist them in such an act would be convicted and imprisoned for murder, and these are grown adults making the choice for themselves!
"it's my body, my choice" is another ridiculous statement used simply to ease one's conscious. If we had choice over our own bodies then how is it you must wear a seatbelt when in a moving vehicle? Or how can we be denied the choice to take narcotic pain medications for chronic pain? Is our body suddenly not OUR body to make the choice of what we believe would best serve us? No, "my body, my choice" is perhaps the most hypocritical statement ever made. and certainly a poor excuse to brutally murder an innocent baby. And why? All because the woman made the irresponsible choice to have unprotected sex. It's simple common knowledge that if you choose to have sex a baby could be the result. Some argue "but what if it puts the mother's life in danger?" Statistics show that the number of abortions performed because of this amount to less than 1%. 99% of abortions performed are merely out of convenience because of irresponsibility of the parents. This should never be just cause to murder a baby.
Since the overturning of Roe vs Wade I've heard prominent figures state how this is taking away the basic rights of womanhood. To them I pose this question- What could be any more of a representation of womanhood than to have a baby? It is the one thing that separates us from men. The one thing a man cannot do. The one thing that ONLY a woman can do. Again, that statement is merely another statement of convenience to ease one's conscious.
Does this article sound harsh and uncompassionate? Hopefully because it's nowhere near as harsh and uncompassionate as the brutally painful murder of a baby by ripping it apart limb by limb, piece by piece.
