WHAT'S HAPPENING IN OUR WORLD TODAY?

  What's happening in our world today?  Where is the value of human life?  In my last article I wrote about abortion.  The statistics might shock you.  I know it did me.

According to Planned Parenthood 2020-2021 82 babies were murdered every second.  That's 1053 per day or 7374 per week, a total of 383,460 babies brutally murdered per year never getting to feel the warmth of a mother's loving arms.  That's in just one year!

That's a staggering number in an age where women are supposedly stronger and more independent than ever before.  If women are so strong and independent why are they incapable of having a meaningful and successful life AND raise a child?  To add perspective, in the Civil War, our countries bloodiest war ever 620,000 lives were lost over the span of 4 years.  In just two years the number of babies murdered out numbers that by 146,920.  For What? Mere convenience.  All because two people were irresponsible and had unprotected sex.  How is this justifiable to anyone?

One of the toughest arguments is "what about when the mother's life is in danger?"  According to Dublin Declaration on Maternal Health it is never necessary to destroy and unborn baby in order to save the mother's life.

Yet the lack of value of human life doesn't stop with abortion.  Just this past week the  president of the United States and the white house spokeswoman defended a Trans individual for murdering  3 nine year olds and 3 adults in a Nashville Christian School. We had 36 mass shootings in January alone and our current administration is taking advantage of these senseless deaths to push their gun control agenda rather than address our societal problem that has led to the mindset of these shooters.  One has to wonder why the number of mass shootings has sharply increased by 31% from 2019-2022 and already in 2023 there has been 131 mass shootings.  Now this is happening while our current administration has been tightening gun control.  Chicago has one of the strictest gun control legislation on the books yet it has the most mass shootings since 2018 and leads the nation in the number of homicides. Point being our current administration has publicly declared it's determination to once again legalize abortion while fighting for tighter and tighter gun control when obviously their tighter gun legislation isn't working as demonstrated through the sharp rise in mass shootings.  What's wrong with this picture?  Where is the value of human life?
